Greetings, I shake you warmly by the hand. I am Willy Wonka of Second Life, builder of The Chocolate Factory in that venue. This journal is about my life, interests, and travels in Second Life, as well as outside interests that I've picked up 'in-world' as well as other outside things I find on the web that tickle my funny bone.

As Second Life is a world of "Pure Imagination", a world of your own making, so is my interpretation of the life of Willy Wonka. Let's just say I'm rewriting the book and working on my own script. I know the direction I'm headed and my purpose, so please do not make flaming posts that "it's not Wonka."

In the books by Roald Dahl, Willy Wonka is an old man and I have extrapolated from this, and in short my story goes like this...

Willy Wonka is an old man at the end of his life, Charlie cannot bear to see his best friend and mentor die and pleads for Willy to take the Wonkavite, an anti-aging formula he created. Even though Wonka was ready to hand over the factory to Charlie, he takes the Wonkavite and age regresses to about the age of a 30 year old man again. With a whole new lease on life, Willy finds he has time to do many of the things he never did in his first life.... from here it's an open book and in the process of writing.

Second Life is an Adult Oriented community, you must be 18 years to partake and participate, and even though I'm creating a family oriented venue I'm an adult also, and this journal will have some images along the way that will reflect the content of SL such as images in clubs. I can't control all content taken in my wide imagery, Shigata ga nai... it can't be helped, such posts will be filtered or will be behind a cut with a warning of content.

This journal is a work of fiction based upon a fictional character and is FOR ENTERTAINMENT ONLY.

I do not own the rights to the creations and intellectual genius of the Roald Dahl books, both Warner Brother movies and its imagery, the products of the Nestle Corporation, or any other originally created items that others have made that are within the theme, I only complement and replicate these objects and ideas in the virtual world for entertainment only and not for profit. I consider what I do a promotion and free advertising to the respective owners of these properties, which I also gladly do in real life, to keep interest in the fandom going and to keep the dream alive.

About 'The Chocolate Factory' Second Life:

Home to a replica model of Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory, a museum dedicated to the preservation to everything Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Willy Wonka, and anything falling within that theme. The site is for amusement only.

This Chocolate Factory is only meant as a Model and Replica, it is not exact, and there are no movie screen captures here. There is nothing for sale here that violates copyright laws. This place is only for entertainment and public enjoyment. Everything is built from scratch; all the textures there are either found in world, purchased in world, or made custom by me, Willy Wonka of SL.

I do have some originally created intellectual property at The Chocolate Factory that falls within the theme, but I am entirely reluctant to sell anything as I like my creations unique to the site. These creations however, may be enjoyed for public viewing in this journal and in SL.
